I have a MS SQL datawarehouse and wish to use the Mondrian open source OLAP server with JPIVOT for analysis.
I have one fact table containing 8 measures.
Actual Sales MTD
Variance (Actual/Forecast MTD)
Actual Sales Last Year Same Month
Actual Sales YTD
Variance (Actual/Forecast YTD)
Actual Sales Last Year YTD
The fact table contains 3 different record types, F for Forecast, S for Sales, O for Orders (not used in this)
I have 4 related dimension tables.
From dimension table Dim_CustomerGroups we can get the “Customer group Name??
From dimension table Dim_ProductGroups we can get the “Product group Name??
From dimension table Dim_Customers we can get the “District name?? (Region)
From dimension table Dim_SalesOrganisation we can get “Salesperson name??
I need 5 JSP files (1 index) containing JPIVOT tags with MDX queries. One JSP for each drill down.
1. I need a .war file which can be installed automatically into Tomcat 5.5.
a) this needs the required .jar files (open source ones included)
JPIVOT, MONDRIAN, JTDS 1-2 (ms sql driver)
b) others clearly identified.
2. The web application will consist of
a) An index page with links to each JPIVOT page
b) 4 JSP pages with JPIVOT tags and MDX queries to match OLAP needs defined above.

b) detailed explanation of the JDBC connections
c) any other documentation deemed appropriate
