Wordpress blog installation AND 3 screen capture video tutorials

REQUIRED: Coder with experience of installation and administration of, and day-to-day entries into, wordpress blogs AND ability to create Camtasia Studio 5.1 instructional screen capture videos with commentary in good, audible, English of these processes in action. Coder will a) install wordpress blog and b) do three short screen capture videos showing end user how to make posts and administer the blog. ## Deliverables NOTE: THE END USER of the blog is a professional photographer with very limited website admin experience. The idea is that once the coder has installed the wordpress blog, the end user will be handed three 'talk and show' screen capture videos to walk her through the day to day use of the blog and the basic administration of it via the control panel. (as detailed below). CODER TASK A) - INSTALLATION OF WORDPRESS ON SERVER 1. download the latest edition of wordpress 2. create new mysql database on the server 3. instal wordpress on the domain in a subdirectory in the following form '[login to view URL]' 4. check access to wordpress control panel - and supply password and user name CODER TASK B) - supply of THREE CAMTASIA instructional screen capture videos with audio commentary in good audible English produced in format that will play in windows media player: 1. download Camtasia studio 5.1 (free 30 DAY trial with no obligation to buy) software. The camtasia website has loads of instructional video on how to use the program, make screen capture with audio, and produce the video in various formats. 2. VIDEO ONE: capture - with commentry in english - the process of general administration of the blog: - login - how to change the password - setting up a profile, inserting a picture avatar - setting up rules for allowing visitor comments to blog posts - how to moderate comments - how to set up categories and sections within the blog - how to subsequently organise blog posts into such categories or sections. THIS VIDEO MUST THEN BE PRODUCED IN A FORMAT THAT PLAYS ON WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. 3. VIDEO TWO: (as above) capture the following processes: - login-in to wordpress - making a blog entry by inserting text - adding a picture to the text entry - inserting a video clip to the entry - inserting an active link to another website - publishing the blog entry - deleting a blog entry. THIS VIDEO MUST THEN BE PRODUCED IN A FORMAT THAT PLAYS ON WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. 4. VIDEO THREE: (as above) capture the following processes: - how to set up remote email posting of a blog entry - how to make a remote email post to the blog from a yahoo email account - inserting some text - inserting a picture into the post. NB The blog user has a yahoo email account and will be making some posts from this account to the blog, thus avoiding the need for login to the wordpress control panel. So, the video should show login to a *yahoo account* (you can easily create one for this purpose) then an email posting from this account to the blog, and the post appearing in the blog. THIS VIDEO MUST THEN BE PRODUCED IN A FORMAT THAT PLAYS ON WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. ON ACCEPTANCE OF BID The buyer will supply access to server, passwords, domain name and subdirectory. PAYMENT Payment is conditional upon the coder fulfilling the brief completely: - that the blog is set up and shown to be working with no error messages - that the three video's capture the working process of entry making, admin and remoted email posting to the blog that the coder has set up and that the commentary is audible and shows good English. IN THIS WAY, THE VIDEOS WILL SHOW THAT THE BLOG WORKS CORRECTLY WHISLT AT THE SAME TIME SHOWING THE USER HOW TO REPLICATE THE PROCESSES CAPTURED ON VIDEO. **THE DEADLINE** PLEASE NOTE, THE DEADLINE IS NOT A GUIDELINE, IT IS A DEADLINE AND MUST BE ADHERED TO.
