Impressive/Cool design for Excel 97 report

We currently produce a monthly report (see sample attached) from Excel 97 data.
But it looks clunky and boring. How 'sexy' could this report be made to look?
Report does not need to be created in Excel. Perhaps importing the Excel data into another software package (or some custom program) would be the best solution.
Report does not need to be interactive.
