KICAD PCB is part of the KiCAD EDA (GPL) software used to design circuit boards. With current trends in circuit board design the speeds of signals approaches levels where the board must be analised for signal integrity and timing to ensure proper operation of the board. In RF circuits, where microstrip lines are present, the board also needs to be verified for impedances, losses etc. The deliverable softare needs to parse a completed PCB design file generated by KiCAD PCB and expand the copper tracks, planes and vias (holes) into discrete triangles. The list of triangles representing the copper component of the PCB need to be saved in a file of specified format. Each triangle (1 dimensional) consists of three floating values spesifying the x,y and z position of the corners of the triangle in three dimensional space. Extra features of the deliverable software includes displaying the vectorised PCB in an OpenGL type display window, displaying the net names, number of triangles, setting the division factors etc in various dialogs. The vector file will be used as input into another piece of software (not part of this bid) that will perform the various electromagnetic calculations.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
3) List of libraries linked against and their various licenses (LGPL, GPL ver X, BSD etc) and ldd output of binary(to see OS's version of what the binary links to).
## Platform
1) Linux and WindowsXP using wxWidgets for GUI component.
