ATL Server ISAPI Extension DLL Stream Files (Download) **Goal** Users need to download files off my web server (IIS 6.0 / Win2K3), but I don't want to give direct IIS file level access. I want to be able to control whether they are allowed to download the file or not. **Summary of work** Create an ATL Server (ISAPI Extension only) not the Web Application or SRF files. The ISAPI Extension should use a Thread Pool and allow users to download files off the web server using I/O completion ports, asynchronously. Simply take a parameter from the URL and parse the filename, open the filename on the filesystem and stream the file down to the user. Assume the file can be up to 1GB large. <http://localhost/[login to view URL]> Preferably with the following headers: [login to view URL] = "application/octet-stream"; [login to view URL]("Content-Disposition", "attachment;filename=\"" + strFileName + "\""); [login to view URL]("Content-Length", ); You MUST program this in C++, with ATL Server, using Visual Studio .NET / .NET 2003. I only want the ISAPI Extension, no web application or SRF files. **Shortcuts** I am completely willing to accept bids that point me to a ready made ISAPI Extension DLL that is high performance and capable of handling thousands of simultaneously downloads. If you know of one that will suit my purpose, feel free to under bid and provide me with the details after I accept your bid. **Links** <[login to view URL]> <[login to view URL]> <[login to view URL]> ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Let me emphasize. The application MUST be in C++ developed on a Windows XP, 2000, or 2003 system with Visual Studio .NET or Visual Studio .NET 2003. Tested on IIS 5.0 or IIS 6.0. It MUST use ATL Server (ISAPI Extension) which is a .dll. You must deliver all source code. This application must be able to stream files through the web server (pretty simple, read the file and send it over the I/O completion ports). The developer MUST use Thread Pools, and MUST use I/O completion ports (eg. GetIOCompletionHandle in CisapiExtension). If you need more time then 3 days, please ask. Also this bidding will end early if I find the right individual (which is anyone whom can actually accomplish what I mentioned above with the technologies described).
