Hi! I recently purchased a Nikon D750 and I have a 28-300mm lens as well as a 50mmF1.4 (my previous camera was a D7000) and I'm hoping to step up my game lol. I'm an amateur photographer - sometimes I'm invited to do shoots of things like sports tournaments, basic portraits, etc... Some critique of my photo's - some help with photography and photo composition in general - I mostly do landscape & architecture, would be great for a starter. I REALLY need to do better at indoor, low light photography. I'd love some help with learning some basic photoshop/photo-editing. I can do basic photo-editing and to be honest I mostly use adobe photo editor for it. I know what aperture, ISO, wide angle vs zoom is. I mostly know how to use the different modes on my camera - but some revision would be nice. I'd love for someone to explain to me what makes NEF/RAW so much better vs. JPEG. Of course there's tons more topics you/we could go over - a little bit of the technical aspects of a camera, a little bit of photo composition, and then some photo-editing. I was thinking to take 4-5 1hr classes where I could come out a little better than when I went in - nothing too intense - just something to step up my game a little bit lol. Let me now what you would expect from such an endeavour!

First of all: I didn't teach anyone a photo lesson, but I would definitely I like it. I am not a professional photographer although I have the necessary qualifications. I'm not a top photographer, but I like to take pictures. I have been learning Photoshop for 2 months. Have you ever used the Nikon Capture NX-D program? We can talk about the equipment (although I use an Nikon D5300 entry level), focus modes, exposure modes, camera settings and more. About lighting or composition ... But I think it is best to discuss specific cases, what you would like to photograph and the results. About jpg and nef: - jpg is ready to use, adapted by camera algorithms and takes up little space; - nef requires further processing but is much more elastic, allows exposure corrections or bringing details from white / black areas, white balance corrections.
