I need a person that is an expert with PostgreSQL to help us troubleshoot an issue with a database upgrade and to help us with performance tuning of the database and server. Our current system we need assistance on is:
CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)
psql (PostgreSQL) 9.4.9
The issue we are experiencing is:
When trying to create a Foreign key Constraint from a newly created table (FOO) to a certain existing table (BAR) the process goes into waiting. We are able to successfully create foreign keys to any other table except this one, For example table FOO with a Foreign key to BUU works successfully. When trying to reindex BAR the process goes into waiting. I believe the table BAR is corrupt, although I can successfully select from the table.
