Build a consolidated Access Database using multiple data sources (creating a live database)

I am trying to construct an Access database that aggregated different data sources in order to create a "live" database that deletes duplicates and refreshes the information on candidates.

Three Data Sources:

1. Excel lists generated by a program called Candidates Direct

2. LinkedIn list download of personal 1st connections (multiple files)

3. An existing "Master database"

I want the database to be able to scan these new excel documents in order to build and maintain a “live” database of both my LinkedIn Connections and the profiles the CD program scrapes.

and do the following in order to create and build a “live” database:

1. Using the unique identifier of the personal email address, update the following fields in that entry line, but not the others, if the new data has the personal address:

Title

Company

City

LinkedIn Profile

But not touch the rest of the fields.

2. For the existing entries that do not have a personal email address (and the new data also does not have a personal email address), I want it to look at first name and last name. If there is a match, I want it to update the following fields again:

Title

Company

City

LinkedIn Profile

3. For entries that have a match on the name, but not personal email address, and the new data has a personal email for that person, I want it to update all the following fields:

Title

Company

City

LinkedIn Profile

Personal Email

4. For completely new entries with no existing match (via personal email or first/ last) I want it to check the “Title” field of the existing database and only add it if it also has one of these titles.

The most important part of this project is for the Candidates direct information (which has city) to be merged with the LinkedIn Export data (which does not have location information) in order to create candidate entries with location data in the same line as the personal email address.

Also, I want it to add new entries even when the title has extra stuff in it. Because people add random stuff to their titles. For instance, if a new entry has “Account Manager- Special accounts” I want it to be added because it has the title “Account Manager” but not have the title updated. I’m not sure if excel or access is smart enough to do this.
