HealthStrong is intending to create the WOW (World of Wellness) mobile application in order to allow trained WOW coordinators to sign in to unique facility accounts and record responses from class participants. The overall objective of the app is to act as an interface to a database that will automatically generate reports based on the information submitted through the application and to receive a blog feed that updates users on planned activities. The app is not intended for public release and will only be provided through HealthStrong (pre-loaded by HealthStrong on Android tablets).
The application will be used in an aged care environment, either in residential aged care facilities or community centres. The WOW application is expected to run on Android 4.0 and above for use on Android tablets (Galaxy 10.1) that will be provided to trained personnel. It should maintain portrait view.
The actual interface requires that users pull content from an existing website, which will outline the weekly program content. Additionally after they host a class they can submit simple data about each of the class participants. These are the minimal viable product needs.
The data base does not need to output information to the application. The database is anticipated to be built through Formstack and to automatically generate reports to the e-mail associated with the individual facility account.
Support is offered to the service program through HealthStrong as programs are issued from the website, and later revised and amended based upon feedback submitted through the application. Currently there is no specific launch date as the program is still in development. However, we HealthStrong would like to launch the application within 6 weeks from the acceptance of the quote.
Phase Two (future enhancements/expansion): Livechat, Videofeed, Forums.
