Build an App

Vue will be a social media event application which fills a specific niche that other applications have failed to fill. Unlike many other applications the application will not have any login. Instead of a login, Vue will sync to the specific phone. The application will be completely anonymous (therefore no personal information will be needed to validate the profile) and completely public (therefore any event created, like made, or comment written will be anonymous). The profile tab will allow for the user to see, edit, or delete the posts they have been posted from that phone. The profile will also allow for the user to see what events that they have liked and commented on. Lastly the profile will allow for the user to change the radius of the geolocation feature in order to increase or decrease the distance that they see events within. Vue will have a basic event creation side tab. Required to create an event are a : Title of Event, City and ZipCode, Catergory, Date/Time, and Description. The only part of the application which is optional is the specific street address. The City and Zipcode are needed in order for the geolocation to work for the Now/Popular and Category tab of the application. If no specific address is given the then the event will not appear on the map tab. Vue will have three main screens. The applications first screen will be a map that is synced to the person's phone maps. On the map, any event that provided a specific address will be placed with a marker. Depending on the type of category selected when the events created (party, barnight, food, local events, etc.) the markers will be different colors. When promoted (monetization opportunity) is introduced the events that are promoted will have a star marker. The second tab will be divided into two other tabs. The first subtab would be "now" or the most recent event posted in your radius. The second subtab would be "popular" which would be the post in your radius which has the most upvotes to least upvotes. The upvote and downvote count will be cumulative of all votes casted. If an event receives a cumulative score of three downvotes it will be removed. The last tab will be the events separated into categories. When the event is made one of the required pieces of information is a category that the user feels the event falls into from the drop down menu. The events are separated into the categories and when a category is selected the events are again organized from most upvoted to least upvoted. On every post people in the radius will be allowed to upvote, downvote, and comment. Whenever any event is clicked on in any of the three major tabs the screen will change to show the details listed of the event. Please refer to diagrams attached for further clarifications.
