I have 1.5 years of experience working on Developing Android Applications. I have worked on GeoFencing for marking the schools for a CRM application. I have worked on payment integration of Paynimo for an Erp application. I have worked on Google maps integration for tracking school buses on a map. I have worked extensively on Push Notifications(GCM , FCM) for the same ERP application . I prefer standard coding skills, follow the java coding style of naming variables and follow modular programming approach.

I have done some open source project whom I think are same yours. I prefer gradle as build script language, do testing in release mode to make sure obsfucation work. Also apply google firebase crash report. Other could be applied too like android annotation
