Hi, I can definitely help you with this (I am also working with a qualified security specialist), but can't promise results. I presume you don't have an external Syslog server that stored the logs (preferably in an encrypted format). Based on this assumption, if they knew what they were doing and have altered the logs on the server, there might not be a lot that we can see.
