In any case, with hight traffic or not you want to put your site(s) behind a proxy such as Nginx, it will cache non dynamic pages and off load your server, it will also be useful in case of DDOS. Depending of the size of the site and pages (need to investigate) it might be a good idea to add a CDN (Content Directory Network) to your infrastructure, you can look at cloudflare for example, there are many others.
