I am direct connecting a TVS-1282T3 and TS-832X with two of these kits from Amazon. [login to view URL] These cards and cables are on the QNAP's compliant parts lists and forum people say they work. I have them connected. Both ends show green lights. Both appear in the admin panel, but neither one of them pass traffic. i believe they need configured but can't find any info on qnap regarding how to configure these devices. I have them truncated. I have assigned them a static ip but don't see traffic passing yet. Am looking for someone who has done this before and can help. I believe it will only take less then 10 minutes if you know what you are doing. Please don't say you can do this if you have not personally done this before on two qnap devices.
