Hi, pls read carfully. This job is on VirtualBox on my personal computer. I have a Centos7 server with 2 adapters, 1 in bridged 1 in internal network. The Centos7 also have a dhcp server that provides clients (ONLY on the internal network) with ip and dns. The clients on intnet should be able to ping 8.8.8.8 and use the internet on browser. PROBLEM = when i ping 8.8.8.8 on client i get : "Request Timed Out" I double checked configs ,disabled firewalls, flush dns etc etc nothing helps! Pls check screenshots. In screenshots ull see configuration of enp0s3 and enp0s8 and config of dhcp server. Someone think they can fix this?

Good day! I am certified network engineer MTCTCE/MTCNA having over 10 years of experience in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of enterprise network devices, firewalls and Linux servers. I can configure your VirtualBox and CentOS qualitatively, because I have a lot of experience with Linux servers and VirtualBox (including different network modes). You can't use same subnets on the bridge interface and on the interface with internal network mode. What real subnet on your host's NIC? The bridge interface and host's interface must have a same subnet, but not the interface with internal network mode. I can tell You more in the chat.

Hello I am a system and network administrator, with more than 10 years of experience. I worked with different services and servers, particularly, designing of a local data center, management of local and remote sites, and cloud environments. The above-mentioned experience includes work with virtualization technologies, mostly based on VMWare products, cloud services such as AWS, DigitalOcean, and etc. I have proven knowledge of networking and security, thanks to the work experience and Cisco training sessions I participated. The short list of the servers and services include but are not limited to: Web Server (Apache, Nginx, IIS), Mail Server (Postfix, Exim, PowerMTA), DNS Server (BIND, Unbound, MS DNS), Firewalls (Iptables, PFSense, etc.), basic scripting (BASH) etc. If I understand your issue correctly, the problem is with VirtualBox. You need to have ICMP forwarding from VM to the Physical machine. However, as far as I remember, VirtualBox allows only IP level forwarding. Thank you for considering my application. Regards Eduard
