We are a UK-based software solutions company looking to expand our reach and incorporate new technologies into our products and services. We have a number of deployed services which need updating, further iteration and continued development. We plan on hiring talent which can help us continue this development.
Specifically, we are looking for an experienced frontend JavaScript developer who has used Vue.js with Single-Page Applications (SPAs). We already have a small team of developers and are looking to speed up internal application development on existing code bases. We use a mix of contemporary Node.js packages along with Vue.js, including webpack.
We are looking for a developer to incorporate a number of new services to our existing systems, including:
• Service workers into our application to enable offline application usage;
• Local storage implementation for offline application usage;
• A number of additional pages into our web application (details released on contractual negotiations); and,
• Updating the web app’s consumption of a number of API endpoints we provide;
Additional required skills include:
• Fluency in English;
• Competent communication skills;
• Ability to use Git version control system;
• Ability to use Docker and GNU Make;
• Knowledge of SASS stylesheets.
Additional, non-required but preferred skills include:
• Good CI/CD practices;
• Axios and JWT.
