Maintenance Management program

Overview Maintenance Management Software needs to track data of several different types of maintenances. Maintenances should be done: Daily, Monthly, 3 Months, & Months, Annually, 2 Years, 3 Years and 5 Years. There will be 3 types of users: Manager, Admin and User. Manager will have full access to system, and he will create admins and users. Admins will have their own area in app, where they will assign attributes/tasks to users. Every user should be notified by e-mail about assignment, and every admin should be notified by e-mail about maintenance done. Users will also have a user friendly mobile version of app, that helps them update maintenance jobs faster. After the job is done, app will automatically update scheduled time for next maintenance. Also, admins and users should be notified before next scheduled maintenance. (time before sending notification is not discussed) Project proposal After reading project description, and communicating with employer, based on the overview above, I am proposing WEB APPLICATION. (Server is not part of this project proposal) Web Application assures that all users of app will have access from offices and field of work. Also it is much better solution for users which will update the status of jobs maintained since there will be access over their mobile phones. App will connect to server database. Because of small number of data that will be exchanged and stored in database, for this proposal I am suggesting two free versions of database servers: MySQL server, and MS SQL Server Express. Both of them will support up to 10GB of data stored per database. Manager will also have full access to database. App will have control panel for logging and maintaining users and scheduled jobs, based on type of user logged in. Admins will have template for creating new jobs and assigning new jobs to users. Users will have their control panel in which they will see new jobs assigned to them, they can see all finished jobs, and start updating current assigned jobs. After Admin assigns job to user, user will automatically receive e-mail and notification on his storyboard. After users updates the status of job maintained, admin will receive email about job done. Both Admin and User will receive email about notification for upcoming scheduled maintenance job.
