Javascript semi advanced string sorting function

Hi all, I need a function to sort through an array of strings. These strings HAVE numerical values/letters and MAY have special characters. I need essentially a natural sort function to sort by: similar name, numerical values. Next I need a count of the similar expressions that were found: I know this sounds confusing so here's an example - For example: :INPUT: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] :OUTPUT: (This is printed to console exactly like what is shown below) cat_(value).tsd : 01-02 and 04-06 elephant.(value).yt : 1-3 [login to view URL] :END OUTPUT: Explanation: cat_(value).tsd : 01-02 and 04-06 ---- Shows the numerical values in the list for cat_ I can explain more if you message me.
