Debug Javascript for a chrome extension that stopped working

I have a broken copy and paste chrome extension that is already built. The extension copies data from one application (content management system) and writes it into another (electronic health records). The destination application has recently been slightly modified so I am getting an AJAX request error that seems to be stopping the copy/paste application. I need someone to fix the extension so it works again (copy/paste). Once that is done I will likely want to add additional functionality. US resident with Pacific time zone business hours and fluent in English required. Developer must be willing to sign a HIPAA Business Associate agreement for privacy. Please provide examples of other chrome extensions you have written as a reference.
