Dreamweaver 8 and active content with IE upgrade

Hi, Can you, or do you know someone who can help me with this....

Regarding: Latest update for IE. The update has placed more restrictions on active content / Flash, and requires you to click on box to activate the content, this is supposed to be a work around script. I purchased the download and can't understand how to make it work...

Take a look at the enclosed PDF and let me know if you can help.

I can't get it to work...

Hi C.

Have you read the included pdf file that came with the extension? It gives instructions on how to use it for your page. Also included in the zipfile was a demo page that showed the code that will be in the page after using the extension. Both files show you how and where to link the .js file that is required for the flash object to function.

I need more help! I purchased the $15 download, but I can't get it to work???

I would be willing to pay for someone to explain and teach me how to use your script, I have more websites and customers that are going to need this done.

I cannot seem to get the "CMX Insert FlashObject 1.2 To work!!! I am sure I am doing something wrong or leaving something out...

The example does not look like the html on my customer’s page?

I cannot figure out: How do you include the external JavaScript file, [url removed, login to view] in the HEAD of my document?

* I am using dreamweaver 8. ( just type in ( [url removed, login to view] ) between the HEAD TAGS????

I cannot figure out: Next, you create a DIV element (what is this and how do you do it) for your Flash movie, followed by a JavaScript block (what is this and how do you do it?) that targets the ID (what is this and where is it?) of the element. (I can't understand the example?)

I cannot figure out: How to select a folder, name it and save the external JavaScript file ([url removed, login to view]) in it?

Some of my pages are under the folder www and some others under public_html. I tried putting ([url removed, login to view]) in the www folder by the process did not work.

The note: "Please upgrade to the latest version......" always shows up on the top of the page????? even though I have the latest version.

I would be willing to pay for someone to explain and teach me how to use your script, I have more websites and customers that are going to need this done.

Question #1 is can you change my code to show an example? (My code from home page is shown below)

Question #2 is how and where do you “put” the ( [url removed, login to view] ) file?

Question #3 Can I use the “find and replace” feature in the “EDIT” drop down menu? To Replace each instance?

(I hope I do not have to do each flash item individually) What do you think?

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT: * My customer’s page: [url removed, login to view]

* EXAMPLE: HTML from home page with multiple Flash, logo, buttons and text.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Flash logo below this line<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>your changes to my html below<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Flash buttons below this line <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>flash buttons above this line<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>your changes to my html below<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>end<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Thanks for you help, this is going to be a nightmare for me & my customer’s websites.

Most wanted a lot of flash items, and with the IE upgrade they are starting to call me and ask what is wrong! (slow or jerky movement)

Thank you,
