Hello, I am a software engineer and system designer with over 3 years of professional experience under my belt. In the past I had been tasked with development of internal systems of a small UAV destined for the defence market. Programming projects I worked on were IMU, autopilot, and motor control systems. For the IMU and the motor controller I had developed and tested various Kalman filters and other estimators, which served the purpose of fusing data coming from different sources - inertial sensors, GNSS receivers, pressure sensors, magnetometer, and optical flow sensor in the case of IMU, while the motor controller used a sensorless approach to the estimation of the rotor position - the algorithm was able to be ran efficiently at over 40 kHz. I was tasked with development of the low-level portions of the software as well - I have interfaced STM32F4-family microcontrollers with at least a dozen different sensors and other peripherals. I would love to hear more about your project. State estimation techniques were essential for my past work and I would like to continue working on similar subjects. I look forward to hearing from you.
