I want to build an i-phone and i-pad application that will allow parents to put in their child's names and dates of birth (up to 8 kids) and that will put 1 or 2 or even all of the names on the screen, with a count down timer in select-ably years, months, days, hours, minutes & seconds until they turn 18 years old, and will need to move out on their own. The format should scale and rotate with the phone or i-pad so it can be held up or shown. Fonts and backgrounds should have a few options. The idea is to be a humorous way for parents to mess with their kids. There should be an alternate date option for the last day of school etc.
