Belle Nash is a newly created literary character - the gay hero of Regency Bath who gets involved in various amusing adventures, all of which have a moral purpose: to challenge bigotry and prejudice and human rights abuses that were common in the 1830s and remain common now.
The first Belle Nash book appeared in March this year - Belle Nash and the Bath Soufflé - in what will be a 5-part series called The Gay Street Chronicles that has been welcomed by celebrities including Jeanette Winterson, Alexander McCall Smith, Peter Tatchell and Matthew Parris.
We are now looking to produce a set of graphic novels and want an illustrator who could find a graphic formula for the book's historical setting. Manga illustrators need not apply.
