Idea for an apple mac app, Virtual retailer, To create an app that allows consumers to log in, area specific! Type in the service or store you wish deal with or visit. The app will locate the participating retailer or store, and allow the consumer to order take away food, coffee, lay buy clothes and white goods etc. The benefits are both for the consumer and the retailer, Retailer; 1, web presence and online store 2, tap into traveling consumers (on there way through) 3, the retailer would have the capacity to use IPad and Apple IPhone as point of sale device 4, international application. Type in service or retailer prior to holiday and research local business or service. 5, search engine marketing style of search results for retailer 6, structured low or little cost web presence Consumer; 1, condensed & localized information 2, use of popular apple medium 3, low cost $1.00 or $1.99 small change 4, bookings & purchases made easy. It would have a small cost to local businesses, hopefully enough to manage the operation of app, all retailer data would be held via service provider on the cloud. I would like to know what is fully needed from a technical side and cost, it needs to be live for the retailer. I can see the retailer using point of sale style brackets of clamps to allow the iPad to be wall or counter for the real time orders Ie; a coffee shop taking drive by orders for cappuccino, taking advantage of drive by consumers on the run. The consumer would have an I phone, as millions of people do. The retailer can upload a template of info like a website, with menus and details of products
