Camera access and color detection

We are looking for a freelance programmer with experience and knowledge of mobile development of cross-platform applications. For this particular case we need to develop a module or application (preferably in Titanium SDK) for access the camera phone, select an area (basically a square of fixed size) and detect color found in that area. It has to work at least for iOS (iPhone / iPad) and Android, but if it works for other platforms would be an interesting plus. In this first instance do not need graphic design or complete user interface, but we need a clear and well commented code because it is a proof of concept. If development is successful it will be part of a larger project. There are some Applications with similar functionalities such as [login to view URL] For this first instance is only requirement is obtain the color of an area you select. Obtaining the color of the area must be performante, since detection is performed periodically for a time to be determined, but less than a second. Regards, Spiria
