To develop a crude model of a handwriting recognition system on one of the platforms viz C, Java, Matlab, .NET etc. There is no need for a sophisticated interface. However properly documented and implemented source code is required. All the algorithms which are implemented should be cited and supplied along with. The code is to be used as a engineering degree college project.

Do you have any data that you can provide for the handwritings? or any dataset can be taken? - What algorithms do you want? OR will any algorithms do, that result in a good accuracy?
