This is a 2 phase project: 1) Website and database design/setup and 2) Mobile App -
We would like to setup a portal style website. This site will be used at many schools. The purpose of this site/app is to have the schools let teachers pick supplies/items/gear needed for their classes and allow parents to log in to purchase these items via our suppliers or affiliates.
Since this will be setup with many schools and school districts, the database will need to be setup so the districts are top of the levels, then schools under those. Teachers have different abilities in the portal and parents can see all the children that are in the system.
This would also need to have the ability to notify parents when new items or messages are added for their children on the portal. This feature would also need to be available with the mobile app as well.
We prefer php and mySQL because of ease for hosting. Designing of the layout is also required as you work with us through the project. Thank you.
