Please message me with: Links to examples of your work; they should be other Avada-themed sites. Rough Order of Magnitude of your Price -- Project Description -- This is a request for proposal for the design of our web presence. We are a pet community (bulldogs) in Southern California. We would like our website live by mid-December 2016. Users will visit our website to learn about our pet community (blog) and local services for pet owners, to complete registration forms, to learn about/RSVP for local events, and to purchase products via a auction/garage sale platform. Our immediate need is the visual design implementation of WordPress, including the images and formatting with integration of social media. To include the optimization of the final product to ensure the site operates at top speeds while also deactivating anything within the theme that is not needed for the site to operate.  -- Presence Details -- We have already determined several architectural elements of our web presence. Our site will be hosted with the WP Engine. The main CMS of our site will be WordPress. We strongly prefer using an “off the shelf” WordPress theme, and currently have a preference for Avada. Any theme must absolutely be responsive as we see mobile browsing as the priory for all design. We are not interested in a dual-view design, such as with WPTouch. We even have WordPress with Avada already installed on a WP Engine instance that is “login ready”. Several functions of our website will not be organic and will effectively link to other systems. This includes the function to RSVP and pay for events, which integrates with Paypal. This also includes the registration forms customers may use, which integrate with a proprietary CRM system. This may include the shopping function of the site as we are investigating systems such as WooCommerce to provide a garage sale/ auction style sales platform. We intend the main website to act as the “glue” and the “single pane of glass” for our community to utilize these functions. -- What We’d Like from You -- First of all, we’d like to know if you can share our passion with this project. We then need to make sure that your services will fit in with what we need. We have a fairly good idea of what we want and don’t want to be distracted with fundamental changes to our roadmap. Adhering to our timeline is also critical; our site must be live by mid December. For advertising purposes, we want folks to see the construction, read our site, and pull up our website on their phones (mobile first, yay!). We expect to own the exclusive rights for all intellectual property developed. We would like to see examples of your recent work, and our attention will be on the aesthetics and visual design. That means show us your best-looking sites, not necessary the ones with the coolest features. We would like you to provide an estimate for your services. We have more details we can provide our finalists. For the actual award, we would like a firm fixed price agreement. -- Desired Aesthetic -- We’re just going to throw out some words here: Clean. Simple. Modern. Gender neutral. Crisp. Neat. Industrial. Somewhat in that order. Again, that’s why we’re not the artists. -- What We Already Have -- We have our name, our logo (we can give you .AI files), our color palette. We have our URL. We have our social media accounts. We don’t need any of that collateral at this time. -- What Other Things Might We Need -- We still need an SSL certificate; depending on the gateway used to accept payments.  We haven’t yet decided on the store component; if you are able to provide insight into using either Volution, Big Commerce or WooCommerce we’d like to listen. We have a merchant account with Paypal. The planned integration to event registration through our POS system is a bit wonky; we’d also be interested in any event registration platforms you may have experience using. We think that should cover most of it!
