I want to create a website for my current contracting business with fedex ground. I will be taking data that’s already provided to us by fedex ground and use it to refine and improve my business’s daily operations.

I want to focus on:

P&D results/ Van Service Audit Section

(P&D Results – Status code Packages)

DOT Hours and miles/ PU performance

(DOT Hours and miles – PU performance)

We get paid a certain amount per stop, delivered package, actual Pickup stops and actual packages picked up.

I want to be able to enter the Pickup and Delivery information into the site. The site must calculate:

• Driver commission for payroll.

• Turn the data into weekly, month and yearly performance chart. This data must be saved and analyzed for the company to effectively plan by seeing peaks and recessions in volume. This will help us be able to plan better.

• We are contracted to maintain a service rating of 99.3% or higher. I need to site to turn our data into weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly results for each driver and the company as a whole.

• I need the site to calculate all the miles driven per truck. This will be used to tell when each truck is due for a PM.

I need the total P&D hours turned into a timesheet application for the drivers to confirm and update their virtual timecards. This must be available under a mobile application for Mac and android.

A copy of the spreadsheet information will be given to the developer for better understanding.

(Part B)

I need the site to act like a maintenance scheduler for the trucks listed. With the miles being driven everyday. I need the website to notify the user when the truck is due for a PM, Brake change, alternator change, tire change and so on.

EG Miles

Transmission Fluid 25000

When the miles driver each day add up to the miles in the right column the website must send an email or text to the user that the truck must be serviced. We can also incorporate a calendar into the system to notify the user the date a truck was serviced.

I want to focus on using and refining Part A and Part B for my personal use at first, after that I will think about turning this into a commercial site for profit based upon my trail run.
