Graphic design for technical diagram

i am designing a system for bathing water / beach quality prediction. there is a fast turnaround time required. Ideally i'd have the end result back by 10am (GMT) on 13th of July 2018. there are a number of phases - first is an app that gets simple data from people (citizen science) and gives them back simple information on bathing water quality. second is to bring in lots of data services. this is what is outlined in the ppt. attached. I would like to have a well presented diagram that shows information flow. The idea is that citizen science data will be received and used for information and planning, and information goes back to the citizen. There will be lots of other data streams from different organisations. A cluster of data streams will be used to present information initially. the information then will be used for pattern analysis. At that point a further cluster comes in. the last cluster is used for real time analysis. all data streams are combined and should end up in a data prediction or forecasting model. the audience is interested in bathing water quality - beaches, swimming etc. the backround powerpoint has alot of blues and greys, so ideally the colour palette will be similar, but that's not a big thing, it can change. in the ppt attached, the first diagram is what i want to display - a prototype. i've also included an image of a sketch where i started. and i've included 3 diagrams i like in case that helps!
