Hi, I’m a PROFESSIONAL TRAINER and trained incoming staff at a major international law firm. It was in its Asia office. Most Asians prefer that the material be light-hearted and presented in a fun group/community manner with lots of short breaks and lively, but related, activities.. I was responsible for the Course Syllabus, all handouts, all Presentations, the paperwork, handouts, course outline, games, segues, tiny “tests” (Called “Check Questions” ― these were all verbal, not written); Summary, Wrap Up, After-Training Q&A, and Follow Up & Evaluation Surveys to find out what worked and what didn’t work, so that improvements could be made. Finally, there was a final written briefing submitted to my superiors after each Training Session along with a summary of the objective Survey Results that the trainees completed. Depending on the topic, training sessions lasted from 2 hours up one month, 1 day a week.
