I am looking at having an ios and android app designed and developed. it will produce a quote per day as a notification to be edited to show up at any time of day and should allow for shares to social media. i.e pinterest, twitter, facebook, instagram as a link, text or text on a photo and able to be shared as a message, email etc. as a link or text or photo.
It will need to be a random quote of the 365 quotes (which i will provide to you ) to each user with the same quote not appearing twice, so one of the random 365 quotes going out daily with no repeats, No fancy backgrounds, just a quote as a notification so users can open the notification and it will open the app to that day's quote or If users allow widgets, it will pop up as the quote, otherwise it will be viewable in the app when opened, on the same background each day.
I would like to dynamically update the quotes, send notifications, etc, so not sure if you need to add a basic server side that works on any hosting as i'd like to update the quotes in one years time without the need to resubmit the app or for the user to reinstall. Your advice please.
It will also have a pop up appear asking for the user to tap a star rating for the App Store with options for a 1 - 5 star Or 'Not Now'. This could pop up say twice in the first month and then again 6 months later (if this is possible)
