I am looking for a manufacturer to produce my one single product. The product I need manufactured has been produced in the past. My product was patented in the USA but is no longer protected by trademarks or patents. I do not need a prototype as I have in my possession the actual product from the original inventor. When this product hit the market is was know and marketed as a “California canned Earthquake” It is simply a vibrating can with simple labeling. The “vibrating” mechanism of this can is quite simple. A low voltage motor powered by one AA battery. To create the vibrating, a motion or “attitude” switch is used. A simple metal washer is connected to the shaft of the motor is a offset position to make this can vibrated and spin. When you pick up this can and tilt it, vibration begins thus causing the can to shake and vibrate. Once the can is placed on a flat table top and held in the neutral position. It will cease to shake. A filler material such as a polymer or foam such as polyurethane is used to encase the motor, the switch and securely fills the space inside the can. The bottom of the can is removable so one has access to replace the AA battery as needed. I was told by the inventor that this can was produced for him in China and without naming the original manufacturer he told me this company no longer exists. I have shared the original description and it components with images and it’s original design and concept. The one thing I do NOT possess is the schematics that define the actual voltage of the electric motor and the switch identity. I could comfortably start with 1000+ units and expect to purchase 50,000+ additional units. I do NOT need help with labeling, marketing or packaging on this product but that my change in the future. PLEASE note...As you study the photos and read the actual description from the Patent description, there is a mention of a Mercury switch. I want this product to be consumer friendly and environmentally safe so, NO Mercury or LEAD should be used in this product!
