REQUIREMENT : Only Native people from Malayasia who can read/speak English proficiently. No immigrants with fake accent or from other country. No Chinese malayasian. GUIDELINES : During the recording, • Listen/read to every sentence. No noise, murmur, hollowness, echo, belch, smack. • Can't record in the classroom, the library, the conference hall and so on large room, there will be an empty void sound. You can't wait in the bathroom to record in a very small room. There will be an echo. • The mouth is about 15 - 20 centimeter away from the phone, can avoid the plosive burst breath. Common disqualifications of the recorder: 1. Poor English pronunciation. Mispronunciation of English words, over-reading or missing. 2. Sound file has obvious background noise or second voice. The speaker cannot stammer while reading aloud. 3. Speak in an unnatural way, often jumping words. 4. The speaker speaks too fast, i.e at a deliberately high speed in order to speed up the recording. 5. For the acronym question, the speaker breaks it down. 6. Non - native. 7. Recorded more then once.
