We are a home automation company, looking for a Qt/C++ developper for developing a C++/Qt Apple Media Remote TV library. Currently, the iOs application Remote - developped by Apple - allows the full control of an Apple Tv from an iOs device. At least two projects have been previously released to allow such control from a computer running Python or NodeJs. The protocol is described and is very close to the HomeKit protocol. A few days ago, Apple has delivered an open source version of the HomeKit protocol. So the hard part is now available (encryption libraries and SRP implementation). 1. The developper must provide the C++ sources to build a Qt library with such features: - complete Apple Tv pairing - keypair serialization - credentials (provided by the pairing process) serialization - command sending: + Menu/Long press Menu + Home/Long Press Home + Play/Pause + Up/Down/Left/Right + Select + Volume Up/Volume Down 2. Hello, I am experienced Qt/C++ developer specialized with macOS / iOS development .. and cross platform (Android/Linux ...etc.). I work with Qt 5.12 but 5.13/5.14 are the latest and recommend to work with latest Qt release. I have to say that with the extensive references/resources you provided, the project is highly well defined .. In order to take this challenge ... its more practical to start with some initial build .. before assigning the project .. this way, you can be safe and confident that you see initial code before taking risk with any coder.
