Need PE licensed in Ontario Canada to certify a 12' Steel Truss Design
Budget $750-1500 USD
A local building inspector in Canada will not accept the design drawings for roof trusses because they are certified by a Virginia PE but not an Ontario Canada PE.
Can you give me a quote to:
(1) certifying the attached drawing (Page 3) under Ontario building Code; OR
(2) producing a drawing (similar to page 4) for a 12’ truss design certified under the Ontario building code?
I am putting a 12’ x 24’ addition on a building in Ontario Canada, using four 12' long steel roof trusses.
The attachment shows what I want to do:
Page 1 – photo showing where addition will go
Page 2 – Drawings of Addition
Page 3 – Certified drawing of same-dimension trusses except 20’ long (with my notes
on top showing differences)
Page 4 - Certified drawing modified to show 12’ truss
The steel trusses match the dimensions (thickness, etc) on attached drawings, except they are only 12’ long instead of 20’ long.
