Soccer player and ball detection with OpenCV (EmguCV wrapper)

We are a company working on a large scale project that involves image processing. Here we would need a .Net programmer for the small part of this project that is quite simple. Your job would be to implement a simple image processing algorithm that would detect players of each team ( the program should also recognize the referee) and the position of the ball (if the ball is outside or inside the soccer field). The project will be managed by our team so it's really important that the code is really well documented and follows good coding practices. Use of EmguCV wrapper for OpenCV library is mandatory.
