Hi, I have experience for 15+ years in electronics/embedded development. I have several years of advanced AVR/arduino development, including library development from scratch. I already have reading function, it need only one function read from DHT11 sensor. it need only one GPIO with switching input and output direction, I can optimize this function for you, language is C. if you need. I recommend you use DHT22 it is more exact.
