Air Conditioner controller(Raspberry Pi/ Arduino/ Micro Controller based) working on the temperature setting to operate two ACs in sequencing(AC1 and AC2). Nomenclature: 1. Ambient temperature will be calculated by temperature sensors. (T1, T2, T3) Average of 3 temperatures will be TAVG= (T1+T2+T3)/3 2. Tavg will be used as a reference temperature. (RT=Tavg) 3. Input will be the desired temperature set by the user. (ST) 4. Let ACT1 and ACT2 will be set temperatures of AC1 and AC2 respectively. Logic: When RT>ST, at RT=ST+2; AC1 will be turned ON at ACT1=ST-2; After 5 minutes, Check for RT=ST; again if RT>ST; Decrease AC1 temp by 2 degree ACT1=ST-4; Again After 5 minutes, Check for RT=ST; again if RT>ST; Turn on AC2 also at ACT2=ST-4; Run Both AC till RT=ST; When RT =ST, Power off AC1; Run AC2 till RT=ST-4. At RT=ST-4 turn off AC2; Example; RT=26; ST=22; RT>ST; hence AC1 will turn on at ST-2 i.e. ACT1=20; After 5 minutes, Check for RT=ST; again if RT>ST; Decrease AC1 temp by 2 degree ACT1=ST-4=18; Again After 5 minutes, Check for RT=ST; again if RT>ST; Turn on AC2 also at ACT2=ST-18; Run Both AC till RT=ST=22; When RT =ST,=22 Power off AC1; Run AC2 till RT=ST-4=18. At RT=ST-4=18 turn off AC2; Also, the need for UI for mobile. The data logging function also.

I have designed a similar system for hoke automation. Would prefer using a microcontroller for this application as it would be faster and reliable, temp data can easily be interfaced through analog pins and rest is programming. And also you might not find relay modules for ac control since they are quite heavy devices. I will also design a relay control circuit for you! And for data logging you can either use bluetooth or make it through the cloud I have been working on IOT based services and products for quite a while now. Would love to hear back!
