I am a long term author who has built up a small but loyal and wonderful readership and I am now looking for someone to help take over some of my book writing as I deal with long term health issues. In this first instance I am offering a single book contract, with an understanding that if this goes well, the next contract discussed would be a three to six book contract spanning the next year minimum.
SO...
Do you know what MM (gay) Paranormal Romances are?
Do you understand the concepts of Fated Mates?
Do you prefer vampires who don't sparkle and appreciate shifters instead of werewolves?
Can you write in conversational English in a way that will engage the readers in romantic plots that are character focused?
Can you write in dual POV, third person, past tense?
Do you have a wonderfully fun imagination?
Can you set and meet realistic deadlines without excuses?
If you answer yes to ALL of these questions then please send a link to a sample of your work in the first instance and provide your actual pay rate. Don't try and tempt me with a lower offer and then try and negotiate afterwards - be upfront with your expected rate of pay. I am not looking for the lowest bid - I am looking for the writer who can meet my needs at a realistic price.
Also please let me know your expected deadline for completing a 50,000 word novel - the rate I want you to bid is for the 50K finished work. Please note this amount will be divided into three milestones (15K, 30K and then 50K) and I will expect you to sign an NDA and a contract passing all rights of the finished work to me.
Finally, this is the second time I have posted this type of job and I've learned a few things :) I will not respond to bids that just say "contact me" - I've outlined what I want and what I am looking for from you before we reach the chatting stage. I will also not consider a bid from anyone who clearly hasn't read this entire message, and who doesn't send me a writing sample. If your previous fiction ghostwriting work is covered by contracts with previous clients - I understand. Just write me a 500 - 1,000 word original short story as a sample (and yes, you'd own the rights for that and it would be a good thing to have in your portfolio).
I am looking forward to receiving your best offer.
