1. this is going to be a website that lists all the restaurants in a big city. 2. i will want full rights to this application after its complete. _________FEATURES____________ * multiple categorys, sub-categorys, and sub-sub-categorys * rate each restaurant * leave a comment for each restaurant * google or mapquest maps integrated into website to show location of restaurant. * css integration * msSql database * dreamweaver friendly so that i can add advertising banners and other graphics manually without breaking the page. * administrator section with multiple admin accounts to help add restaurants and build database with certain limitations. * one master admin (me) to edit everything * ability to scan in restaurant menus as multiple images and have the thumbbnails show under the restaruant or manually type in menu. _______________________________ * within the big city I am going to section it off into Area's * within the areas will be towns * within the towns will be streets * withn the towns will also be malls/hotels (restaurants will also be at this level if they are not inside a mall) * within malls/hotels will be restaurants. 1. restaurants will also be catogarized by "Budget" (fine dine, casual, normal, fast food etc..) 2. restaruants will also be catogorized by "flavor" (europe,asia,america, south america etc..) 3. restaruants will also be catogorized by "franchise" (Mcdonalds,Chilli's,burger king etc..) visitors to the website will need to create an account in order to do the following.. 1. rate each restaurant according to a 5 star interface with three different categorys (service, food, atmosphere). 2. leave a comment about a restaruant 3. participate in a simple online forum Administrator 1. there will be "user admins" to add restaurants but only 1 administrator..me! I will add the areas's, towns, malls, streets etc.. * I will need to add the info for all the categorys (area,town,malls,budget,flavor,franchise etc..) * "user admins" will only be allowed to add restaurants. -------------------------------------------------------- all restaurants will have the menu scanned in, for restaurants that are apart of a franchise their menus will all be linked to one central location because it is the same. it will also be scanned in. lets start with this for now and as we go along i will tell you what needs to be added and changed.
