I have had a couple of 'false starts' with my .NET (MVC) project. The task still needs to be done and so here we are, trying again.
This is a paid by the hour task.
You will need to be available later this afternoon (16/10 GMT+10) to TeamViewer in.
You will be given a series of tasks to prove your skills and abilities with Visual Studio.
This is also intended for you to demonstrate your ability to follow instructions and how well you communicate.
This will start with the very basics, working up to more complex tasks.
If it seems that you're unable to competently complete the tasks, I'll ask that we stop, and I'll pay you for the time involved, then move on to the next person.
The reason for wanting to do it this way, is that too much time has been wasted in recent weeks in assigning tasks to developers, only to find out the hard way that they have over-promised and can't deliver.
Here's the first 10 tasks
1. Create a VS project
2. Create a very basic 'public' page
3. Sync it to BitBucket
4. Create a client portal, using the Webix Desktop environment
5. Add a login button to the public page
6. Hard code credentials into the project user: test pass: test
7. User logs in from public page to get to the public portal
8. Create a connection to hosted SQL server
9. Map login credentials to user_tbl
10. Any user within user_tbl can now login
.net - SQL - Js - Visual Studio
At the end of the 10 tasks, I may give you another 10 or we might talk about working together further.
All future work will be on a quote basis.
All tasks are fully described, we'll ask for a quoted price, we'll either accept/reject.
Tasks don't change once assigned.
For your proposal, please answer:
Are you available today? Y/N
What time are you available from (GMT+10): ?
How much time would you be able to spare?
Do you have the required skills?
Will you be completing this work directly or are you bidding on behalf of someone/a company?
Do you work solo or in a team?
EDIT: As of GMT+10 13:30, I have 4 people that I intend to try out.
