Good topic for research proposal

Hello I am looking for a good dissertation topics, for a research proposal first. Ideally 4 or 5 different. If you look at journals on the topics identified most have a areas for further research at the end of each paper. This may give you some specific title and also demonstrates a gap in the literature that needs to be addressed. You must find “problem” related to marketing/communication( my degree) i also you need to avoid a topic that is likely to end up descriptive. as an idea for one of the problem I was thinking to talk about the fact that luxury brand are reluctant to go online/digital. Something around this. something like " Does sticking totraditional in-doors environment creates a healthy context for its customers to fill communication gaps between the luxury brands and its customers?" but it obviously needs to be refined, this is just a first shot, and you don't have to use it. a good example is Rolex. They forbid all retailers they work with to sell Rolex online. Up until recently they wouldn't even allow them to show products on line, they are very very very strict, but things are *slowly* changing. Not just for ecommerce but also for digital marketing. Rolex only launched their first fb/IG pages a couple of years ago and it was a big deal. I believe there's a European community of Jewellers that go against Rolex because according to EU law it is illegal for them to stop retailers who have bought Rolex from selling them online (something along those lines anyway ) Cartier started selling online recently which is a big step. And then you've got retailers like Mr Porter who have a huge reach but are purely online luxury.
