I am a young entrepreneur who is in the process of applying for a US work permit.
As such, several financial statements are required from 2017-present for my business.
Please see a summary of my situation, organized by subject below.
**Financial Documents Required**
Namely, a P&L and Balance Sheet. There may be others j am not familiar with but this is the basics.
In 2017-2018 I was a sole proprietor, incorporating in October 2018.
I have the following available:
- Sales reports
- Invoices from contractors
- Some bank statements (I formerly combined business and personal banking)
My sales are approximately $200K per year. Our financial performance in 2017-2018 was quite poor as I did not track or manage expenses well.
**Challenges & Current Situation**
I will admit that until October of 2018 when I began using Xero my financials were extremely disorganized and/or non existent.
I must admit the financial side of my business gives me a substantial amount of anxiety and dis-ease as such I have "ignored" it up until now; when such documents have become necessary. Please be gentle and do not judge :)
I may not have full information for you, but am hoping a satisfactory set of financial documents can be provided using the information I have readily available.
What might you estimate are the rough costs for such a service? Guidance is most appreciated.
