Thumbnail generation standard 3D files. There are many publicly available 3d object viewing and rendering libraries (open source and GPL). Many have been packaged with a GUI into free 3D viewing utilities that read 3D files like OBJ DXF, 3DS. FBX etc. We wish to use one of these rendering libraries (without a GUI) to generate PNG thumbnails directly from the these 3D files. (i.e a simple fong rendering, or some similar solid shading , not just a wireframe) The ocx should be able to be called from VBA in Access. Something like: [login to view URL] ("c:\myfolder\[login to view URL]" , "c:\mythumbs\[login to view URL]",100 We will pay $100 for a 3D object thumbnail control that can read OBJ DXF, 3DS files. With a $50.00 bonus if it will also read LWO and FBX files. Additional bonuses are available for even more 3D file types, we may request others in the future. (perhaps you can suggest some now.)
