Delphi - Smooth Scroll TDBGrid

I dont like the scroll behavior with standard TDBGrid. Currently when you move the scrollbar, the grid does not update until you stop scrolling. I want the scrollbar to behave like it does in TMemo, TListbox etc. I have tried some code found on google but they make no difference. I also dont want to use a different grid component. My grid is also connected to TAdoTable if this helps. So, how can I make TDBGrid scroll smoothly up and down? At the moment it seems like a record in the table has to be selected, I noticed when i scroll with standard TDBGrid it also selects a row in the grid. I am basically looking for a procedure of some kind to make the scrolling much more smoother, it feels horrible scrolling it the way it was meant to be. Thanks!
