Create header with background and search bar

working on header for page - [login to view URL] - I want the image to be the background for the header - but then I want to be able to insert a search tool on the right side of that image to replace the search box below the menu. I want it to blend in with the picture but has to stand out so that users can easily find it. Also make it fancier than just a box - something that will look classy. Since this is a responsive design - the image must move with the change in size of screen all the way down to lower levels - but the search tool must somehow stay big enough to be easily be used on small devices - may have to separate from the picture. We should just have the left half of the picture show for the lower screen size to make it look better and not so small. Winner will be given copy of the page and all associated css files to work with and then send back with changes. Thanks
