Add some WOW factor

Site: [login to view URL] Target: Demographics: Age: 25-60=+ Sex: 75% male-25% female Occupation: small business owners The aim of the site is to promote and sell the concept of lease instead of purchase of software for the small business owner Promotion: advertising will not necessary depend on SEO as marketing will be done by direct mail to individual business owners About the site: Designed in Dreamweaver CS6 using a tables for placement and CSS for formatting. The background is made up of 4 images. A sliced repeat background with three other images for faster load times. Requirements: The site lacks any ‘WOW’ factor. While I am reasonably happy with the general layout it is very flat, uninteresting and boring. I require the home page to be more dynamic and appealing with WOW factor and a template for the 4/5 other pages based on page 1 layout although I am more than happy to listen to alternatives. Originally had jQuery 5 image slider but unfortunately my expertises don’t go quite that far so very happy to revisit that option. Also not sure whether to use transparent or JPG image for slider. Happy to discuss any thoughts to achieve desired results however have no wish to go to WP layout. I will also be constantly updating content based on market feedback. Note: in the first instance I have no wish to spend a fortune of initial site as this is a new concept and I wish to test its viability in the marketplace. If the concept works I am more than happy to go for a full-on site and spend accordingly. Also most of the target audience will have little interest in ‘backroom’ stuff on the site as they will be your ‘average’ internet user. I will make my decision based on the applicant's website design portfolio first and price second.
