Add products to productcart shopping cart CMS interface.
This project consists of 8 products, adding manufacturers product description, pricing, images, a standard stocking level and other basic information to the online browser interface to our shopping cart.

All of the necessary information is available from the manufacturer's web site or a spreadsheet we will provide the winning bidder with.

Content development You may use the html design browser based software in the CMS software or develop the information in your on html design software and cut and paste the code into the CMS system.
You may use all information on supplied web site or related information from other web sites. Writing should sales oriented, and in a conversational tone.
A long 300 to 500-word description should be prepared for each product. One page for product with variations. Products differing only in Color, size weight, can be on one page with the variations set up as options two types of options may be used,

Design Comments
Use bullet points to pull out key points.
Product Benefits should be the focus of the page with product features size weight power etc.. at the end of the page.
Product Title and description should be keyword and sales oriented. Use of tables is ok but keep to a minimum. Use h1..h6 tags etc.. do not specify fonts or font sizes Links should be relative addresses. Use alt tags on all pictures with no more than four relevant words.
Use of one or two engaging images with alt tags that represent the purpose/use of the products is encouraged. Pictures in addition to the 3 product pictures showing the product in use or from different perspectives are encouraged. Post the images in a separate zip on RAC and we will post them to the site, you can view the description of the sku #067 to see the proper way to reference the pictures. We will supply you with the final subdirectory name to use in the path and you will use that name here and in the cart image path.
Directions for preparing Images
Name images with 3 digit alpha [url removed, login to view]
Select a primary large picture for each product this should be the largest most detailed picture available
If there is an image availabe 200 x200px or larger the CMS will automaticly resize the image into the 200x200 and 100x100 px sizes
Create a general image with longest side 200 pixels add “_200?? suffix to image name
Create a thumbnail image with longest side 100 pixels add “_tnail?? suffix to image name
Post images in a zip file on RAC we will transfer them to the site to productcart/pc/catalog/subdirectory/
When entering products into cart imagename will be subdirectory/[url removed, login to view]
Detailed description of information to be entered into shopping cart.
Prepare one page html page for each product and paste it into the shopping cart,
Prepare and enter into the cart, a short description, this will be used for search results so keyword and sales pitch should be focus 25 to 50 words
Category Assignment
When necessary create category, category description, add two representative pictures of the product [url removed, login to view] for the image and [url removed, login to view] under large image in the Manage Category section.

Information on the Assignment of Options
Enter options such as size, color, etc… as needed, use existing where available or create new options within the cart administration panel, use the least expensive option as the base product with the product price increase added to the option.
For example an small pillow sells for $12 and an medium for $22 and a large for $30

After completing the page test the options by adding the product with each option to the cart and check the pricing.

Performance timeline
Post one page fully populated within 48 hours of bid award. If needed we will edit the picture paths to resolve properly then you will use this page as a template for future pages.
Post a minimum of one page every day fully complete and proof read.
You are expected to use the product cart manual to answer most questions.
