We are looking for an Amazon Web Services (AWS) support Engineer to support all the activities related to our AWS cloud managed service clients and supporting the existing team.
Activities of this project start from VM Creation , adding storage , adding network but most importantly "root causing" / reviewing architectures, logs, identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing written email and more formal documentation for identified issues and resolution, along with updated architecture diagrams.
In this project, the freelancer will assist clients directly but remotely over the phone and via approved communication channels on service affecting issues they might be facing on AWS on a day to day basis.
Supporting clients, during any kind of planned migration and liaising direct with local experts to understand any / all mitigating factors including work with 3rd party partners such as digital agencies etc who frequently deliver content as part of the upgrade of web services
Phenomenal technical capability and 5 or more years working production workloads with AWS for business customers with an available english speaking reference customer.
Must be a great communicator, English speaker, AWS certified, evidenced by an official and current AWS associate and or professional certification. (Professional certification or 2 or more associate certifications would be preferred)
Must have availability between 3pm - 10am Sydney, Australia time via video conferencing & slack.
